Mrs. Koehler has been a preschool teacher 7 years. She has worked in both the 2-year-old room and the 3-year-old room. She has been involved with private preschool for over 11 years as a parent, member of PTO, and substitute teacher. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2016-2017.
Mrs. Koehler graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in Recreational Therapy and Psychology. Prior to working in a preschool environment, she worked at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte for 14 years on the Children and Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit. She is currently National certified and State licensed as a Recreation Therapist. Mrs. Koehler has also been the youth director at her church for 6 years.
